I use affiliate links on EdwardTorpy.com, what this means is that if you purchase goods or services from these links I’ll get a small commission or some other benefit. When appropriate I’ll embed affiliate links in blog posts, if a link is an affiliate link it will be clearly labelled as such (affiliate). I will honestly tell you about my experiences with these companies. However, I can only report on my experiences, your experience may be different, please shop around and make sure you’re getting the best deal.
AirBnB
I found staying at an AirBnB to be a weird compromise between staying at a hotel and crashing at a friends place. I’ve had mostly positive experiences with AirBnB so far. Go to airbnb.com.au/c/edwardt1102 to get $50 credit (Only applies to new AirBnB customers).
Amazon
I’ve used Amazon for many years, they’ve always provided me with good service and I love their Kindle. Click the banner below to shop with Amazon (Note: this is the USA Amazon site, it’s possible you might get better deals if you use your country’s Amazon site)
Ecosa mattress
Ecosa is one of these mattress in a box companies. I have ordered one of their mattresses, presently waiting for it to be delivered. I’ll update my thoughts on it once I sleep on it. One of the things that sold me on trying it out was the 100 nights return policy, so even if you don’t like it, just return it within 100 nights to get a full refund. You can get a $250 discount by ordering through this page: ecosa.com.au/referral/torpy Though it may be worth noting that I believe they offer this discount as standard on their website.
Studio Press
These are guys who sell the Genesis theme for self-hosted WordPress sites. They also have many child themes so you can make your WordPress site look pretty good with a minimum amount of effort. Click on the banner below to go to their site.
Uber
At the present time I have not used Uber so I can’t comment on what their service is like. However if you’re going to use them anyway, click here.
Vivid Wireless
I’ll be honest here and say it’s not the fastest or cheapest internet. It’s a good alternative when you’re not sure if you’re going to be living in the same place long enough to justify a new connection. So far I’ve been very happy with their service and if you sign up with their refer a friend program we both get a free month of data. Only available in Australian capital cities.
